You may wonder how your faithful scribe and his partner in crime were able to capture those up close and personal pictures at both the start, gate and finish of race two.
Well.... It seems our fearless team leader simply asked! We joined the press corps for the late afternoon run to the course and there we were in the middle of the action. We were literally side by side with the maestro of marine photography Matias Capizzano and his huge telephoto lenses the size of oil drums... Someone pinch me!
What did we learn? Just ask here in Portugal and you shall generally receive. Of course, sometimes a little smile helps too,
